    Hows it going BHW.

Since i need to get my post count up to 15 to PM i thought that answering any questions people have about Facebook CPA Marketing would be the easiest way to do it.

I started CPA Marketing with Facebook back in the spring of 2010. Having little to no knowledge of coding at that point I ran into some initial problems. The site I used to host my CPA surveys (which i won't mention because I dont want it to seem as if im promoting, and just because I thought it was the best clearly doesnt make it the best) had a chat function which I quickly used to network with other members.

Since I had access to Facebook accounts and could pay for page updates all I needed was a script.

It wasn't until summer of 2010 that i finally came across a script that would really make me $. The Red,Blue, Yellow Script (which im sure you are all familiar with) involved clicking the red then blue then yellow button to get access to content. All though CPA sites classified this as click jacking we solved this problem by telling people what these buttons did in small print underneath the buttons. People didn't seem to mind and still clicked and clicked.

I started the process with about $200-$300 and my partner had about the same amount. Back in summer 2010 you could easily get page updates for decently cheap. So we spent $200 on page updates and really went from there.

The first night our page soared to ~120,000 likes and life was good. We managed to make 5 or so copy cat pages and redirect the script to those pages. Facebook would shut down some of our pages but we managed to stay ahead of them for 2 days. 1 of those days made each of us around $7,000. But we got greedy, and instead of making new pages or really focusing on moving traffic around we just would sit and refresh our pages.

Obviously Facebook caught up to us and shut down all our pages. We though no biggie we can drop $200 and do it all again. For about a month after this point we dropped a couple hundred on updates but this is when Facebook started to move to apps. I quit CPA marketing and started up a record label.

Not only did I love music i was tired of telling people how I made money.

Think Facebook spamming vs. "I own a record label"

Anyways, sorry for rambling on but I have done 1 thread like this before on another site and it was a huge success so I would love to help anyone new to the game or answer any questions.

I dont think i want to link my label to BHW but its very small and not incredibly profitable yet. Definitely not trying to pretend I started Universal.

CPA and Facebook mix better than anything. If you have a real legit site getting 100's of thousands of unique views theres way better ways to monetize than with CPA but with facebook you can start viral pages, apps and ask for nothing more than for people to complete a survey.

Well think of it this way, Facebook can't have billions of staff monitoring every account just so they can ban apps in seconds. However if you take a viral app idea that has been banned from Facebook multiple times, such as "FREE ZYNGA POKER CHIPS" or something like that than facebook has most likely set up an automatic blocker on that name and names close to that.

Alot of people have been Pming me etc... etc.. if you have any specific questions let me know!

Well lets start with the 1st part of your question.

    1. In my honest opinion DO NOT use Facebook ads. Getting charged +$0.10 a click or paying for impressions and getting horrible conversion rates is not the way to go. Think about it this way, you are smart enough to have found BHW and Internet Marketing. Facebook Advertising is probably only useful to rich, possibly lazy business owners who have thousands to dump into facebook advertising to get a thousand people or so to there local business.

    2. Cpa Offers come in many different forms however you want to mostly focus on Mobile Offers and/or incredibly high converting surveys. Email submits often have 90% converting rates but overall pay out incredibly small amounts. Mobile offers often have some of the worst conversion rates but end up making the most money.

To start find something people want, need, or will catch there attention. Block it with a CPA widget and drive traffic. Include a viral script that either iframes from facebook or is hosted on a separate website to try and make your app/page etc... go big.

I create FB cpa apps but I find it tough to promote them via FB ads. What would be the best way to promote my apps?

Definitely do not want to be promoting them via FB ads. I can not emphasize this enough. The ONLY people i recommend use FB ads are those with a large promotional budget and a local audience they want to target on Facebook.

Back to your app, the best way to promote would be to get blasts from other apps or pay for status updates on new Facebook pages. Some marketplaces offer this and others dont. It might take some ground work to hunt down page owners but its definitely worth it.

10k likes just promoting through Facebook is going to be incredibly expensive. Unless you have a local event company or a minor league baseball team i would say it is one of the least effective way to appeal to the masses
