[ask]linkwheel still effective ?

got some news that tell me the major link wheel is useless

Yes it works but you have to be a little crafty with it. Don't make it a total wheel & don't close it at the end. Sites don't naturally link like that use some common sense.

Another thing is to do linkwheel around web 2.0 property Squidoo, hubpages etc and only link 1 link from that property to your money page/blog/site whatever and you will get that link juice from that property.

You have to do a lot more today to make things work and now I just do this ramdomly - seems to be working way better and yep don't close them. Also try and use several acc on the same property and link them with comments or rss

it works but it leaves a huge ass footprint for google to spank your ass shortly in the future once they nail it so dont use it on a site you want to rank long term!
