[Ask] Image for blog post

Hi,

I start to run blog in home niche. The problem is for home niche blog image is very important but free royalty image is very limited. Is it okay to just grab image from google? Or any other advice?

I don't think it's a good idea to just grab any images in Google and use it on your site. Even if no copyright is mentioned, you should remember that all images on the web are protected by copyright laws. Here are some sites where you can find free images that you can use legally.

If you still want to use images then just add a source text below the image with link to that image page url. By this you will have peace of mind in putting any image and if still the real image copyright holder has any problem, we'll be very polite with you to request it to remove.

So you are almost safe in putting image by just providing a backlink to that url from where you got it.

You can upload images you found on Google as long as they're "labeled for reuse"
On Google Images, click on "tools", then on "usage rights" > choose "labeled for reuse", or "labeled for reuse with modifications" if you're planning on editing the image.
