Ask global friends about GPT issues

I am glad to be on this forum.
I come from China and would like to ask friends from abroad how long it will take for your GPT-4 to pass the join waitlist ?
Is it easier for you to pass?
I applied for a long time but failed Is it because the Chinese region is disabled by openAI?

It took me probably over a month, but it varies
