I got banned a few months ago for fighting with a GM in global chat. Took a hiatus, whatever. Now my friends are playing and I want to join again.
Every time I enter the world on a specific character, I instantly disconnect. No matter the account. Can still log in to the client fine, create an account fine, etc.
When I run the game on a separate PC or in a VM, no issues.
I've always connected via VPN, but I guess it should be without saying that their client can see something on my PC.
I've tried wiping the OS and reinstalling, creating new accounts, changing some serials, vendor/OEM information, device/product key in the regedit, MAC address, PC name, a bunch of unique identifiers, and these are all not the the piece of data the client is targeting.
I'm at a loss - What kinds of shadowban related information do other services/softwares check for that I am missing?
