The plugin doesn’t matter as much as before, most of them do the same core stuff anyway.

If I keep it real, Rank Math is the go to, more features, better value, especially for free.

Yoast is still fine, just more basic and beginner-focused.

But the truth is, AI isn’t killing you because of plugins — it’s killing generic content.

The bigger challenge I see in 2026 isn't choosing a good SEO plugin, but it's creating content that gives people a reason to visit your site instead of accepting the AI answer... No plugin can solve that part (yet)
