Artists and Record Label domains

Hey everyone

I had a few questions about domain names and their value. Recently I was able to acquire a few domains of some very popular singers and record label names. Also I was able to obtain some domains with the names of large multi national corporations. How can i make the most out of them if I were to resell? Also how would I value them? They are mainly .music.

Copyrighted domains? Do not waste your time with that.

They can just come in and take them from you.
Your only hope is that they don't notice.
If you offer to sell them a domain they have a trademark to that is seen by WIPO as a clear mis-use.

I wouldn't touch them. If your going to try and resell good luck. A lot of people stay away from them.

Wish I could give you some hope.

I have had several music celebrity fansites on exact match domains (.net, .org & .info). Never had any problem. Earned quite good with adsense and then sold after a while. I still do it with sport celebrities but never had any problem. I guess it will be problem only if you will try to commercialize your website and try to make profit using their name.

Thanks everyone for your responses. I was wondering if I have any chance of selling these domains back to these parties (labels and artists) as they are exactly the same as their current domains but .music.
