artificial traffic generating software?

Hi i had a buddy that ran what he called a train for blogs. it was bringing me 3000 views a day from around the world. ( i do know it went down once because his proxy list went down he said one time)
what im wanting to know is how he did it and what i would need to do it my self.. he recently got banned from adsense so he took his train down.

if you're looking to do this for yourself, hopefully you're not using adsense unless you want to end up like your buddy did...

also, i doubt anyone can help you figure out what he did by the code name he gave his program.

he got banned because he was charging a click a day on his blog.. when he got banned he was upwards of $30,000 for the month..
but ok.. i know it has to be some traffic generating software.. but what you would really all it and where to start looking for it i do not know..

any ideas from what i described?
