Articles Written From Scratch VS Articles Spun?

If I was to write an article from scratch or spin and article then go back and edit all the mistakes which one would rank better?

The one that makes more sense.

But a hand written article wouldn't rank any differently than a spun article? Or would it because of keywords?

Rewriting articles until they are unique is the same thing as original content depending on the percentage that they are unique. Spun articles are shit in my eyes, but they can serve a purpose.

I guess you can just spin articles for an idea/inspiration then go back in and edit and put keywords in to make them rank better. Right?

I suggest you to try article spinning... because I have used that only.I have idea in that alone...

Article spinning sometimes for me is more work than actually writing the article. I only bother spinning articles if I have to do hundreds of links in tier 2's. Otherwise to be honest, you are better served just taking 15 minutes of your life writing an article.

Every word written in this world has been written before. So article spinning does make sense, but the problem is that most article spinners usually only spin the synonyms. Very few article spinners rewrite the sentence using the active - passive technique. However, even if you use such article rewriters, (for example wordai), you wouldn't be getting many good results since they are only mechanical bots.


There will be two types of results depending on your choice. The first would be more number of articles and less readable quality. The 2nd will be opposite of it with the article quality high and the number low.




So, it's a game of choices. Take time, rewrite and make a generally readable article which can pass a manual check by Google or take the risk by writing a spun article (which would also take over 5 to 10 hours depending on the number of outputs).

Spin the article. It would work better

You are asking which ranks better, so I assume it's content for a money site. I'd never use spun content for money sites for a simple reason: If you want people to click your ads, gibberish spun shit doesn't cut it, even if it ranks. Walking the extra mile and getting some decent content for sites with actual visitors pays off. For a PBN, matter of taste, good reasons for using spun content, good reasons to use handwritten content. For money sites, spinning is self sabotage.

Quality content ranks better, so if rewritten content is unique and has more substance than it could rank better than a new article written without proper research.
