Writers are far to expensive to freelance these days, does anyone use any tools that you can trust? sick of spinners and so called article writers tools that churn out crappy text that in bits sounds like it was written by a small sloth.

What works and what doesn't?

Instant Articles content policy is very strict. I lost my instant Articles access due to this.

Yes, facebook changed rules and now you can easily loose access if your content is not good enough

True. But what you could do is to hire some young students because in general, they are in need of some money for books, living, party, etc.
I personally hired a 20 yo student to re-write articles. I need articles of max 200 words, and I pay 2,5$ per article.
200 words are enough for an Instant article because I place also 1-2 photos and an embed video (each photo or video is counted as 70 words) ... and I place the ads manually in the Instant article, 3-4 ads in such article.
