Articles: Best Plan of Attack?

Ok folks, I am hoping to get some tips and conversation going about article marketing.

Everyone talks about article marketing and how effective it can be for backlinks, affiliate sales, and really just about any method out there.

I just recently purchased The Best Spinner (amazing tool) and I am finding that I am hitting a bit of a mental block as far as how to utilize it.

My question is this...

What do you personally feel are some of the BEST uses for articles?

Try to get them all into different article directories?
Create a ton of different blogger blogs (etc...) and post versions there?

Something completely different?

I am looking to be enlightened as to all the various different WH and BH methods of using large quantities of spun content to make cash.

in my opinion, you should trial and error. there is no harm sending those articles out. if they reject, just do it again.

Article marketing is effective for backlinks and some traffic, but I wouldn't say its gangbusters for affiliate sales.

My personal article strategy is to get paid for them and get a backlink and traffic from them, so I only submit to sites that have those qualities. For me these are adsense sharing article sites - triond.com, xomba.com, hubpages.com, infobarrel.com, squidoo,com, etc

I find its hard to get someone to jump off an article to your site, so with these places if they don't follow your link, they at least might click an ad there and you may get some revenue.

The other strategy that works is using them for linkwheels.

Article marketing should just be one part of your strategy.
