If your using Wprobot and the article module, articlebase did some changes on the 7th. So if you weren't lucky to catch it, well you might wanna check your autoblogs. Mine was posting a lot of crap...Had to disable the article module..

Using WPR 3.10. Back to cleaning...l8r

I was just about to post about this. I'm getting a lot of crap from Articlebase too. I'm also using WPR 3.10. I only have two blogs at the moment. So it's not a huge prob, but any ideas on a fix???

To be honest, I'm not that impressed with the article module. What else do you all use to get good written content??

ok guys, I know my regex is not the same as wprobot, but for those who have experience with php, here is some code you can use.
PHP:
$pattern='/(.*?)
(.*?)
(.*?)
(.*?)
(.*?)About the Author:
(.*?)

/si';
preg_match($pattern,$data,$match);
$article_keywords=$match[1];
$article_title=$match[3];
$article_body=$match[5];$article_body=preg_replace('/<a rel="nofollow"(.*?)">(.*?)/si','$2',$article_body);
$article_resource=$match[7];
I don't understand the developers of wprobot. I mean, I've got my own personal scraper, but it ALWAYS check to see if a site's template has been changed and if it has my scraper does not scrape anything from that site!

Anyways, I've got a project going to create autoblogs FULLY automated

Check it out here: http://zar.tc/wp-auto.html

You will be able to run it yourself to see it in action!

I see the problem lies in the module/article.php file. The file is ducumented, its a curl issue since they changed their page we need to change what the curl filters out.. I haven't messed around with curl or DOMDocument being a newbie and all. But going to give it a crack.. An article ( almost mirror copy of code ) can be seen here

hungrycoder.xenexbd.com/tutorial/articlebase-com-scraping-tutorial---part-1-getting-links-under-category.html

Excellent Job ! I thought of a project like this that would automatically create, based on search terms, someone searches for, then get related keywords, create blog.. This would work great for a ***topics. website..

Nice job, I like it., Stick me on the beta list..

Well seems like I can't post the fix with the spam block. Stupid Shit.
It's code not a link, can't wrap it to display'

Ok, here is the fix for the Wprobot Article Module..
I'm using ver 3.10 However looking at older version the Module doesn't change much so it should work for all...

Open your /modules/article.php file. Save a backup copy..
Scroll down to line 159 : $paras2 = $xpath2->query --CANT POST THE REST OF LINE --

Code:
Change This
class='article_cnt KonaBody'

To :

Code:
To just This
class='KonaBody'

I found searching your site using $.browser.msie will give you all the post affected..

Now get back to work and make some cash...

I've just opened up the articles.php file in dreamweaver and this line of code:

Code:
class='article_cnt KonaBody'
is on lines 315 & 331...

For version 2.08 do we need to change both of these for it to continue scraping articlesbase correctly?

Haven't checked that old of version, but it shouldn't matter as its just a fetch function.. So backup your file..
But yes, remove all the article_cnt
And it should fix it..

I just did a search on Big G for[SIZE=-1] : Article 0 && $.browser.msie[/SIZE]
About 3,450,000 results (0.25 seconds)
So were not the only ones having a bad day..

This worked like a champ! Thanks a ton! I had just barely started using WProbots article module last week and when the articles started posting funky, I thought I was doing something wrong...but I guess not. Thanks again!

I switched because of the ability to run manual crons jobs. Wp-cron was killing me. But yeah Theres a big difference in the way you setup your campaigns. Especially if you have a lot of categories. It's worth the switch.. I use it so much now, next adsense check gonna ACTUALLY buy it..

Just tried this and it worked.

For me I'm using v2.08 and I just removed the article_cnt section on lines 315 & 331 ran a manual post and checked the results on my blog and the post has gone on fine.

Nice fix thank you!!

I've just checked my blog since I made the manual (articlesbase) post this morning and an autopost has been created which is looking fine without the additional links and crap before amending the articles.php code.
