Article traffic importance for a backlink?

Hello,
Have a question, let's say a website added a backlink to my site in their article which doesn't bring any organic traffic. Is there any difference between articles on the same website from an SEO perspective?

A) Article with 0 organic traffic
B) Article with 100 organic traffic

Is it better to get a backlink from B article instead of A article or it doesn't matter? I'm only asking about authority and SEO juice.

I have heard that some say that if you have a backlink from an article that has organic traffic it ads additional value from SEO perspective.

Having a link on a page with traffic is of course better as you have a chance to get some of that traffic to your site. But that is not what he asked, you should read the question.

It does not really matter. PBNs in general get little to no traffic to them but they can give you plenty of SEO juice.
 
I think you got your answer from above.
Think of it this way:

If you can get a link with traffic, always, always, always use that one.
If you can't (Which is predominantly the more common backlink), don't worry that is normal, required, and common. Rather, focus on if you want that site as a backlink (ie. if it is a quality site or not, don't give in to spam).
 
Going with the "B" is better because the link juice will pass through it to your site.

Good point. People say that B is better, but why? I mean if the article doesn't have an organic traffic, that means that it gives less SEO juice then article with organic traffic?
 
Why B is better from an SEO perspective, ignoring that you can get additional traffic to your blog from the article with a traffic?

Most people here just skim the question and give some answer. Oh, 0<100, so 100 must be better. Or they just repeat what most of the others have said to fit in.

Pages with or without traffic will pass link juice, that's it.
 
Option B is better, as that article is getting traffic, so there fair chances of getting some traffic to your site.
 
Backlink with some traffic is better than one without, obviously,
But, the other metrics involves as well
I think having some links with traffic helps for diversity,
So basically, all depends in many factors/cases
 
No it doesn't matter but backlink from traffic article will give you some extra benefits in terms of bounce rate and new user.... Besides this seo impact will be the same :)
