    Hey Guys,

Can someone please explain to me or point me to the right direction how to get good article titles and what to even ask for when getting articles.

For example: If you are selling "dog collars"

What should i try and make my article titles, I plan on having amazon articles to sell on my blog so if anyone can explain to me how I should go about this to get the best result i would really appreciate it.

    Thank you,

    Cheers!

Here's a trick that not very many people know about.

Search for your keyword (dog collars) on youtube, and you'll see what sort of phrases and subjects people are interested in on that niche and also get great ideas for articles. For example:

Top 5 dog collars of 2012
Should I make my own dog collar?
Why you need a new dog collar
What is a roman dog collar, and why should I get one?
How to know if your dog's collar is too tight
The best dog collar for training your dog

    Etc

    I usually make it like this: "Keyword - Related title";
    Eg:
"Dog Training - Learn how to successfully train your dog".

You can use a tool called UberSuggest.com to generate keyword suggestions. This should help you find related topics to blog about.

Your title should have the keyboard but it should also be written well enough so that it is suitable for the reader, if that makes sense.

I was going to make a new post but I like searching as much as i can before hand and thought I could just post my question here first and see if I get any answers. If not I can just create a new post.

First of all, Hey Black Hat members thanks for all the great suggestions throughout the site. I am new to IM but read a lot and believe I have a good grasp on what I need to be doing. I see myself wearing a white hat more often than a grey or black one and need some SEO suggestions from the professionals of BlackHatWorld.

I have picked a niche and have started writing long articles on my subject. Including a natural amount of keywords throughout my content as well as linking to other pages throughout my site and other sites.

I, having ZERO experience with SEO, only what I have read and have a question as far as page and article titles.

My articles are aimed at people searching for solutions to problems. I don?t want to say my niche directly (minimal competition), let?s say it?s how to fix laptop issues.

Now when writing my titles should I write them from the position of my target customers? Basically what they are going to be typing into the search engine?
For example: How do I turn on my laptop?

Or should I write them in the position of myself and the solution?

For Example: Are you wondering how to turn on your laptop? Here is the solution.

Or just keep it very short like: How to turn on a laptop.

I?m sure they are all adequate as far as SEO, containing keywords etc. but if it means being even a single page higher on the search engine results I would like your opinions.

What kind of titles do your use when your write these tutorials?

Also do you capitalize as much as you can? Or just the first word?

?How to Fix Laptops? or ?How to fix laptops?

Thanks for all the help everybody. I look forward to your opinions.

According to the SEO techniques article title must contain your primary keyword. Like Dog Collars is your primary keyword so choose titles like:

    1. How to choose best dog collars
    2. Where to find suitable and budget dog collars
    3. How to create your own dog collars, etc.

Title should be informative and attractive, hope this helps you.

This is the best advice so far, in combination with the tip to go Keyword-Title (Dog Collars- How to Choose The Right Size Collar for your Dog)

But the reason that one gets my vote is because it doesn't just focus on the KEYWORD but on the TOPIC, and it's a great way to identify the topics that your core market is looking for. A great title comes from a great topic, and a great topic makes a great article, and a great article makes for great backlinks and reader loyalty.
