I'm sure lots of you have experienced challenges when thinking of article titles - especially when building larger sites.

Google Search console allows you to see the keywords people are searching for along with impressions/clicks.

Theres quite a lot of long tail phrases in here I'm consider using as article titles (Exact matching the title to the search) to try and increase my ranking. Plan is to stick to long tail.

Anyone had experience with this or any pros/cons?

+1 for this. As for more ideas, I always go to my competitiors. No, I do not copy/paste their titles -> I get an idea on how i should formulate mine :). Just a piece of advice!
 
There are many "headlines" suggestion tools on the internet. Play with them and see how it goes
