Article tags or meta tags

Hi..

Should I use meta tags on my posts (I add them with SEO plugin) or add the tags to the article using the Wordpress function?

Google no longer cares about meta tags, so that seems pointless to use.
I usually use 1 category and 3-6 tags. Not sure if that's optimal, but it keeps everything clean and easy to navigate.

Not sure it will help you on SEO or not. But Do it to classify your post in every category, it will help the reader to read related article. So do it with Plugin & also with Wordpress Option.

There's a difference between meta tags and wordpress tags.

meta description - from wordpress perspective it also helps just keeping things organized on your post summary page.
