Article Syndication vs Duplicate Content ??

Hi I did some reading about this issue in several blogs/forums.

but some say
Syndication = Duplicate Content ?

some say it is safe..But now I m not sure what to believe..

what is the truth about Article Syndication?? is it considered as duplicate content by google??


P.S : I m planning to use WPSyndicator which will Syndicate my articles to 15 different web2 sites..is it safe to use it?

Pull a few few lines out of any syndicated article and throw it in the google searchbox. What you will see is the same article on many sites. Maybe hundreds. Turns out the site with the most backlinks, PR, authority, etc will be first. So obviously you wont be penalized or banned but you got to be top dog to get ranked. What google really hates when it comes to dup content is the same content on the same domain. For example if you are using a plugin to pull YouTube videos, the original youtube video may likely be the first result but if you are also 2nd or 3rd place you can still get lots of traffic from that video. And your listing will look like a little different from the youtube listing which shows a thumbnail of the video.

Look, google is always keep on removing duplicate content from article directories sites, and if your syndicate your article to these directories it would be copied content.

and incase you don't want to get your site affected then do this after that article is being indexed at your site, so that orignal source of article is your site.

Of course it is duplicate content.
What you should do, keep your own original article in your own website.
Then spin it and broadcast it using syndication services or site which syndicate it like freetrafficsystem.com or others...
