Article Spinning/Rewriting for Local Content

I am currently building out a site for a friend who is a mortgage lender, and I was thinking about blog topics that I could write about and started doing some research on the big mortgage websites like Rocket Mortgage, Nerdwallet, etc...

I was curious if I could just take blogs that these companies have already written, spin them, add some local keywords and details, and just publish them without making any major changes.

Could this get my website flagged?

Even if I am not trying to compete with these companies on a national scale?

I tried rewrting existing articles with quilbot and the posts got indexed in google.
They pass copyscape as well.
Can't praise this tool enough.

Yeah, I have been rewriting articles with Quilbot and I 100% agree with you. I think the tool is fantastic.

I just wanted to make sure my efforts weren't going to waste. I am glad to hear that you have had no problems indexing articles.

Better write your own unique and informative Blog Content to attract Google to rank your website easily.

Not true, the article should be readable.

Let me know how it goes, thinking to do the same for local leads
