Article Spinning- Massive submits - bad?

Hi, with programs like Power Article Rewriter you can churn out massive number of articles that look totally unique.

I do hear that you cannot be penalized for incoming links and all...

but what do you guys think of having tons of these variations submitted to ezines. Do you think one can get into any kind of trouble with SE's. After all, a human reviewer would be able to detect the theme and know that these are rewrites (even if spun to infinity).

Still very unlikely that you are penalized for this otherwise every SEO would be spinning articles for competitors websites - I am sure links from article directories will have less value than they used to, but at the moment my spun articles are still doing well and showing as backlinks in Google.
