Hi guys,

If I am to rewrite articles, how unique must the rewrite be from the original article to pass copyscape. Do you know an actual percentage. Thanks in advance.

Well from my personal experience I like stuff to be at least 30% unique. However I use Magic Article Rewriter where I respin sentences then words and I like getting that number closer to 50%. But that is just me.

for copyscape usually over 60% unique is a pass

To guarentee that it will pass Copyscape it needs to be at least 85% unique from the original article. I've had a number of articles not pass at even 82-83% unique, but have never had one fail at 85%+.

thanks guys, that is what i needed to know. Do you recommend any software for checking the percentage.

Dupfree pro is one of the best. it has other great features two, like calculating keyword density.

Power article rewriter is the software which show the unique ness and word count as well.

To be on the safer side, it should be 100% totally unique. But there are times when the words used or keywords used are like 4 or more words, the rewrite will show duplicate content on a certain %.

I used dupefree pro and it serves a good purpose and helped me a lot when I rewrite an article.
