It entirely depends upon you and your website or blog to set up the schedule. Either of the options are great. The only key point is to post quality content consistently and don't go overboard if you know your limitations.

However, if you're looking to improve the Domain authority using blogs, then start with the 2nd or 3rd option and later, you can change it to only 2nd or 1st as per your requirement.

(PS Of course if you don't have money to pay someone to write for you, if you do than it is better, of course)
