I am not sure if this is right place to post this but I plan on purchasing article marketing robot and it has 3 options. I see 2 options from which I have to pay the same price. I want to know which one of those two options are better. I dont want to put the link here to make it look like spam. Anyway, I dont know what

  • AD - Article Dashboard
  • AF - Article Friendly
  • WP - Various WordPress Platforms
  • AMS - Articles MS
  • ARB - Article Beach
  • AS - Article Script
Or
Web 2.0 Sites:

  • ELGG - A popular Web 2.0 Script
  • JCow - Another popular Web 2.0 Script
  • PHPFox - Yet another popular Web 2.0 Script
Wiki Platforms:

  • MWik - Media Wiki
  • WWik - Wikka Wiki
  • TWik - Tiki Wiki

I dont know which purchase will be more useful. I am basically gonna be using AMR to do backlinks to an article in articlebase.

Thank you.

I'd get as many platforms as you can.
Then your tier one links should be based on PR and traffic generation potential across all sites and platforms with a slight preference (slight - not massive) towards D0follow links - think 60-40 in this regard or thereabouts.

Basing your decision on what should be a tier one site on "does someone somewhere classify this site as WEB2.0..if not I'm not going to use it" makes no sense at all (unless you like to create an easily identifiable self promotional footprint for Google to spot that is)

If it has high PR - if it has good traffic potential - if you can put a link on it..it's a good site.
Whether it's nominally designated "WEB2" or not means sweet frick all, it's more important to have as much variation in site type as possible.
Be nice if AMR posted to a few dozen custom coded sites as well as cookie cutter/open source platforms - but for the price it's good value.

Vince (the dev) is a stand up guy and regular on this forum. He takes suggestions (and criticism) well - and that's always a good sign from a product or service provider.

Scritty

I'd hardly say Vince takes criticism well - and he just ignored his users for a year - saying he was working on all kinds of stuff - and then he comes out with you having to pay more money.... instead of just fixing it within the terms of the licence we purchased it with.

AMR is a second rate tool in the market these days ... I always get flamed whenever I say one bad word about AMR -- but that's my opinion.

I have V1 which comes only with article directories options. If I would be to purchase it today I will choose the other option with web 2.0 sites and wikies as this kind of websites works better nowadays to get quality backlinks.

Danny, I really don't know how to respond to you, since anything I say will be taken in a "poor me" mentality. Really, your ancient arguments are completely moot and worthless. If you want to complain about current version, go ahead. And by the way, the current version is FREE for all paid users. The additional platforms, which are NOT REQUIRED FOR PURCHASE, are not. Get it? Again, update to current version without paying a damn thing. Hmm... so what was your argument?

Actually, if you look at version release history on my forum, you are completely making up all your allegations. 1107 Came out in Apr 2012. Ver 2 came out in Sep 2012 and most recently 2.0.0.3 in Oct. Hardly a year. And with vast improvements, features, and tools, all for free, to all existing users. Ignored users for a year? Is that even possible? Care to explain your case?

@scritty - thanks man, always appreciate your input, once again. Email me with some custom sites that you would be ok with let the masses spam to "if you will" - I'm always willing to take a look :)

No offense mate, but you surely ignored your users for a long time.

I really dont have a use for the new web2.0 and wiki platform, but I'd say you did leave the user on a limbo for a long time, and I will tell you this sniper, am a very hardcore user of AMR, have always been a fan, but to say you didnt ignore the user for so long is untrue.

I would even say current logn time user of AMR should get the new platform for free due to the fact we all waited so long for updates, however am not really bother as AMR is quiet doing the job for me.

It really depends on what you define as "ignoring" - the "discussion" forum went dead for a while, I admit I let that slide, but not for as long as a year, not even 6 months. Maybe a few months max, and probably not even. However, anyone who emailed me got a response within 24 business hours. Sometimes faster, sometimes longer, but they got a response. So this whole "ignoring the users" issue is a pointless argument since, if you had contacted me via email or the contact form, which are both pubically displayed on the site, you would have had a response. Easy as that.

Re: a free upgrade to the addons, sorry, not gonna happen.

AMR was brilliant at the start, but so many people bought it that I see it now as more useful for negative SEO. It was fantastic and a shame that it got saturated, it made SENuke and others look pathetic with blazing fast multi-threading.

It was so good at one point, that I even built an affiliate site around it because I really believed in the product.

Regarding support, Vince / Sniper was once very horrible to a friend of mine and it gave me one hell of a bad impression. I think he's more suited to coding than customer support. In fairness though to Vince he apologised a week later and explained how stressed he was.

Also another point worth noting, is that over just the past 3 years so many software programmes have come and gone. The developers just grabbed the cash and dissapeared shortly after.... Vince has always kept this product going even with all these Google updates which pretty much kill its purpose, so fair play to him for sticking these algos out.
