Who said that it's a money issue or even about uptime ?
You can have a server that works great for months, years and suddenly it starts breaking down and even if it's fixed you might not want to stick with the current host for whatever reason.
I hosted all of my sites with Rapidswitch and one day BAM, first time the sites went down. Was sorter out rather quickly, then it happened again, was sorted again, I called them, urged them to take a look at it. They said that they did but it happened again and again, I asked them again and they said they will take a look at it and get back to me, they didn't...Note this wasn't like all the same day and me being impatient and asking them to check it out a hundred times, it was over the span of a few months...it later turned out to be a switch at their datacenter that was under a DDOS attack and I didn't find that out from them either, a friend who happened to have a server on that very same switch told me and that's how I finally found out.
Anyway to get back on off-topic I put up with it because it would be such a hustle to move my stuff until it was too painful to put up with it and only then did I make the move.
What I'm trying to say is cut the guy some slack will ya. I've bought AMR last year and use it on a regular basis, this is the only real issue I had so far.
