Article Length for Ranking

How do you provide quality content if you're article is a paragraph? I would say yes, length can be a factor. It's probably why one page sites can still rank.. because they have so much meat on the bone

I would say just create content that is best for you niche. Your readers should engage with you page.
To be really honest, length doesn't matter for me. I would just have a video if that's only necessary for my niche.

article length doesnt matter for ranking. But yeah if you want more High amount of shares and engagment then you need a 2000+ words articles.

Write enough to get your point across while explaining everything that needs to be explained to your audience.
If you're explaining something convoluted like how to repair every computer component to an audience who doesn't know what the inside of a computer looks like, of course you're going to need to write a detailed and long article.
On the other hand, if you're writing an article that only requires 300 words to get your point across, then only write 300 words. Don't add fluff just because you think it will rank better, you also have to think about your audience, too.

My thinking is if its relevant and sufficient for that particular niche, then a 1000 word article isn't required!

The length of the article depend on your topic. I have a very narrow topic and I practically can't write 500 words about it unless I add some fluffs. I wrote less than 250 words as original articles. Then I added 120 words of content curation to bulk it up. The article ranks for several related keywords on page 1 and made me some money along the way.

Although there is no rule regarding the article length but i concentrate more on providing all the info on the topic and always try to keep word count above 300. And i have multiple pages ranking well with that word count. It all boils down to the originality and relevancy to the topic.
A big guy in the SEO industry made a study recently.. and his study revealed that top ranking sites have over 2000 words of content on the ranking pages. Obviously, the study wasn't made on all rankings and obviously, this isn't a rule, but it should help you answer your question. To further explain, by writing a bigger article, you have more chances of ranking for more long tail words, which add up!

It depends really. SEO is changing rapidly but the main article length seems to be 500 words. The minimum amounts of words you can write is 300 (that's recommended as minimum). Just try and write 500+ words per article and have a decent keyword density. 3% seems to work fine but you could settle for less.
