article got published

Recentaly I have added 2 articles about the niche which i am promoting to the article directory and got published in the directory (article base).but some other webmaster took my articles and re-published in there website ( link baiting ) . when i search the keyword I could see my article that published in website rather than article directory in google number 1 position. I am confiused The domain as well as the page in which the article got published don't even have high ranking but still it got 1 position in google where as my original article in the article director got 3rd position.

Why is it like this do google consider the original superior to the scraped one.
do the google give duplicate content penalty if some one took an article and republish it in there own website (with the link to the original article of-course )

i think its because his site has high reputation and google crawled his site first

most of my article got scarped and the scraped website is on the top of google search list. Where as my original article is in second page of google what can do for this any idea how to bump my articles to the first page of the google. It is in the article base.

have you guys got similar experience. Is it possible to get any sales if some webmaster scraped your article and put that in there website with link pointing to your website for further information

Report that site,for copying your article?

Article directories have a lot of duplicated content, it has some logic after panda update that a site with some original content plus 1 copied article can rank over a site with 80% or more duplicated text.

They have not just copied they have re-published the article it is not against the tos of articlebase
