So, I decided to just make some notes to help myself, but thought it would be something that some other beginners like myself by like. I will update this as I learn more and update the results of these tools and such, hopefully someone else will find it useful.
1. Buy a VPS!! (makes it easy to work anywhere laptop, tablet, phone, at the gym on a bicycle)
2. Buy a set of private proxies (I have 25 for now)
3. Use bitcoins when you can
4. Get a general idea of what your doing this for BEFORE you start (I didn't, I expect I spent about $500 on stuff I didn't even need)
5. If someone tells you to use this tool, RESEARCH IT FIRST at lease 3 other sources before you buy it, unless you want to throw away money.
6. Make sure you have a complete alternate identity online, this way, in case you do stupid things and end up looking dumb, you don't have to worry about your friends/spouse saying "hey idiot, I saw that post......."
Onto my story so far...
I've got Powersuite SEO (I'll write about that later) and I bought Article Forge so I could create spun articles to populate on my websites to drive traffic. I also bought Scrapebox and added in the Article spinner option. Well, after creating about 15 sites and loading them up with spun articles from Article Forge and Scrapebox, I started to look for what else I could do to drive traffic.
After looking here, I found that I needed to get RankerX, and got that yesterday. Once I looked at it and found a fantastic video on youtube about how to set it up, I realized I needed more in the area of content spinning. So, I started trying to decide what I needed content spinning-wise. So, here is where I am at:
Scrapebox Article spinner: WOW... amazing stuff, however, I have found that you MUST have private proxies to make sure you get as many articles as you can, and I have also found that some keywords show ERROR when trying to find articles. I like the autospin feature of this. After downloading a number of articles, I then go to the translate tab, translate it from english to french then to german then back to english and then I use the autospin feature so that it automatically setups all of the possible spintext in the article. Then I have it spin out like 10 copies of the articles so I can post them to my sites. I used the upload feature and it works well, but I have had some issues with the batch upload.
Article Forge: well, this was my goto after Scrapebox and I am using a combination of these two. Now with AF, I have found that you put in a keyword and you get a decent article, picture, video already to go. And AF has a click to upload to your wordpress site, nice! However, it is looking like the AF articles are all following a general theme of "top secrets of ...." "Exposed!...." "must read report" And then if I spin the article inside of AF, it will spin the article, but still keep that kind of "National Enquirer" headline. But I like the way I can put in a keyword and/or keywords and click 3 options (750 words, picture included, video included, titles) and a few minutes later I get my article. While looking at the article I can click and upload it to one of my WP sites. I then click on SPIN and upload the article to another WP site, etc, etc. I don't like that the article is limited to 750 words, I'm finding myself generating 2 or 3 articles at 750 words per article for a posting sometimes.
So, last night I got SEO Content Machine. It's nice, its on a standalone platform, and it was weird getting it going USE PROXIES!! I really expected a LOT of articles, but it wasn't that many. Once I had it set right, I think, I got a number of articles, and it also has a blogs manager to upload the articles as well. Oh yeah, you can choose the template for the article and it has a RankerX template in it! It also has a blog manager and RSS feed option as well.
Now, I'm thinking about should I just use Scrapebox and WordAI? I've watched a few videos and I see they have a 3 day trial, thank goodness. So that will be an option for today.
I'm still trying out RankerX and trying to setup everything, but it failed last night, I need to go back to the youtube video and follow step-by-step on how to set it up.
So, thats about it for today, again, I'm writing this to clear my own head about this and hopefully help any other beginners like myself. Already I remembered I need to get a readable score thingy? It was a youtube video about Article Forge, but I remember it costing $$$$$$$. Oh well.
Anyway, I hope someone finds this useful.
