    Hey guys -

I'm a writer and I have my own site on the up and up. I added an article directory script to make the site deep and full of content. I have a couple questions though.

First, should I separate that out into another domain and make it stand on its own? I'm not so sure it really fits into the scheme of things, although its somewhat related - being a writer.

Second, I have tools that I can get articles, spin them or just do a quick re-write myself so I have content to upload. My real question here is, can I upload a bunch at one time? My thinking is that, an article directory...should have articles in it. Should I just build it slow or do one big dump of articles and then add new, original content as I produce it?

There's so much information about SEO and traffic, etc, that my head is spinning, heh. While my site is really information and more about a presence on the web, I'm curious about article directories and monetizing that as well (which is my I'm thinking I should split it into another domain).

Thanks for any feedback, much appreciated!

I prefer writhing a quick article and then submit it, yeah it is for sure an directory have lots of article of same topic; but you have to populate and you can do it in social sites and in forums as well. getting traffics will make you top ranked in directory search.

I actually dumped it from my main, (I hate to say legit) site and I'm going to do mini directories for niche review sites. I can scrape and spin an article/re-write it for originality easily, so content issue an issue, just was curious for 'appearance' sake if people would post their articles in a directory that was largely empty...at least at first.

Could you get it listed with article marketing robot or other software like that. You would get a lot of articles if you could.

I"m pretty sure there's a WP plugin for Unique Article Wizard that populates these directories. In fact, I"m sure of it because they've been populating my directory for more than a year now. There are other services as well that do the same. The plugin for UAW is free and they provide the articles for free as well. YOu can set it to unlimited or however many you want per day.

it's not a matter of not being to get it listed. Let me rephrase. Lets say you have a new website....google and and SERPS want to see new, fresh content, links from authority sights, etc. If you're starting out with zero content and you want to populate an article directory, whats the best way to do it? If you ask people to submit their unique articles (or any article for that matter) for a directory with nothing in it, why would they? Just for the links? Do you just scrape a bunch of articles, spin em once and dump em in and then add unique articles in day by day? Or do you start off by just adding uniques day by day and growing it slowly?
