Is starting a article directory a good idea?
Has anyone ever tried?

I've been wondering the same thing. I found a few scripts on here, I'm gonna try them out.
I hope someone can respond with pos or neg experience.

As a newbie I tried this a couple of years back with the Article Dashboard script. A total waste of time for me. No visitors, no money.

well it's a good idea if you use it for linkage and have adsense on it, or sell some adspace. otherwise probably hard to monetize

i'm sure it will work and bring in the dough, but after putting in tons of time and effort. I'm guessing there are a lot of sites out there like that already.
