Bad neighbors. Google de indexed the sites because it considered they were spammy/poor quality/link-content farms/etc. Having links from them or linking to them isn't a good SEO practice.

I would like highly recommend you to submit your unique articles on articlesmoz dot com .It is very nice articles directory, it only accept unique articles and very high ranking site on google.

newb question here. i've submitted an article to lots of article directories about a week ago. do I have to use some ping service to get these indexed? or is it better to have them found naturally? as of now my site has a total of 5 backlinks lol
