Move to a country that is not going to regulate the internet.
I don't think there is going to be any left as time passes. Sooner or later pretty much every country with access to the internet will catch up.

Except there is no benefit to having such regulations for many nations, as the tax revenue they would gain from being more business-friendly would outweigh any positive of the regulation.

Funny when you think about you. You pay taxes, so you pay the Politicians that wanna get Article 13 through. So by paying taxes you are supporting Politicians that basically wanna kill your job and you revenue.
So you are supporting your own financial death, kind of odd that it the tax system works like that. Makes me wanna move into a different country which is not ruled by braindead politicians but i don't wanna get into a political discussion here.

So far, Germany has passed Article 13 as well. We do not get a lot of support here on this matter even tho there are tons of demonstrations in and outside of Germany. The Twitch CEO mentioned in a earlier message to a news station that they think about blocking the EU countries if Article 13 passes through (that was about 2 months ago), as there is no way that a livestreaming service can have a "filter" in place. The thing still remains very confusing and almost impossible to implement so there is no workaround this problem yet.

The only 2 possible solutions i can think of are

- Moving to a different country that doesn't have the EU Regulations (for example Switzerland)
- Using a private VPN from a country the doesn't have the EU Regulation

Totally fucking right! That the most politicians are 50+ years old and basically got NO CLUE about the internet, social media, streaming etc. is also ridiculous. Its like me, who has no plan about the car industry, create laws to regulate the car industry. Its just a huge joke and we are supporting this whole joke by paying taxes.

And then there is one more thing which concerns me. I don't wanna get TOO political, but how many different politicians and systems we got in the last 100 years? Nobody knows the future, maybe there will be some crazy dictator or party showing up within the next 50 years (it doesn't seem so unreal), which will totally block/filter the fuck out of the internet. The same goes for the "cashless paying".

In the U.S. offensive content and fake news will never be banned. There are laws that actually protect website owners from liability.
Yes, because the mainstream media is fake news by themselves. Two years of "russians interfering hoax" for nothing. Made up story. If they would ban "fake news" or anything like this wait a few years more until someone is banning the shit out of fox news, cnn etc. they wouldn't shit in their own bed.
