I hired this "web coder" to make over my site. We agreed to a total of $1500, I gave him $750 down.

After 2 hours of work and a REAL crappy mock up that showed me he was not going to be able to do it, he ignored my communication (we set the deal up through skype)

I then filed a complaint through paypal and offered to give him $50 for his crappy mock up he spent an hour or 2 on. He then denied the refund request and wanted to be paid $425 for ONE mock up that wasn't even complete. The mock up was half finished.

Buyer beware of this scammer.

He claims he has done work for big name rappers and celebrities. This guy is nothing but a scam.

Sounds pretty shitty, but hard to judge anything without seeing what he created for you.

Nonetheless, this deal didn't happen on BHW (I assume that as you never mentioned a username and claim to have set the deal up on skype), so you shouldn't have created a shitlist (could have posted it elsewhere maybe?).

If you paid by cc, just do a chargeback.

hope you will win those type scammers shouldn't get the money

Don't waste your time fighting it with PayPal go straight to your Credit card company and file a dispute, they will solve it much faster and in your favor 99% of the time!

And most of the time leave you with a limited PayPal account or one that can never be funded with CC again.
