Are zero volume keywords actually worth targeting?

I never dismiss low-volume keywords with good search intent. For B2B and niche markets, low-volume keywords often have a higher conversion rate than their high-volume counterparts.

I look at intent, topical fit, and value vs volume, rather than just volume.

Have you compared the conversion rate of low-volume, high-intent keywords against your higher-volume keywords?

Keyword tools often show low or zero search volume but some of these keywords can bring highly targeted visitors. I am curious how others approach these keywords.
Do you ignore low volume terms or do you create content around them when they match user intent?
in fact i do like trying out low volume keywords as they usually have lower competitiion nd a clear purpose behind them. my most successful articles were those that did not use trending keyworrds but rather answered particular search queries. while the numbers may not seem impressive the quality of the visitors could be much higgher.

I Never ignore low volume keywords if the intent is strong. Those pages often convert better and help build topical authority over time.

Keyword tools rely on laggy clickstream data that constantly misses long-tail queries—"zero volume" in Ahrefs or Semrush almost never means zero impressions in Search Console. However, if it actually fits your niche and has conversion potential, why skip it?
