Are YouTube Playlists Still Useful for Increasing Watch Sessions?

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed fewer discussions around playlist strategies on YouTube lately.
Do you still find playlists effective for improving watch sessions and viewer retention?

They don't drive massive traffic on their own like they used to, but they are still great for SEO. Playlists rank in YouTube and Google search results, which is a solid plus. For viewer retention, they only work well if your content is a multi-part series or tutorials where people actually want to watch the next episode automatically.

They won’t save weak content, but for connected topics or series, they still work well I(mo).

i ran 10 playlists for years and the views were pretty good .
