Are you guys writing off black hat products with your business cards? Is that a smart thing to do or maybe not so much? Proxies, etc.

If it is a business expense then write it off. I write off my hosting, vpn, a third of my rent for my office.... etc.
 
Proxies are not illegal to use, and you do pay for them, so it's ok to include them in your expenses.
 
of course, proxies, scripts, fiverr gigs, porn domains :) (some names are really perverse :D )
 
Proxies are like knives. They can be legal/illegal depending on why you use them.
 
Anything you spend money on for your business is of course a write off. Wouldn't make sense to not write it off as you'd be losing money.
 
If you ever went under investigation and they wanted to see records of how you were using it and so fourth..... I mean im not arguing just asking a question, not so sure its smart to be writing off black hat software which can not be easily proved, but proved to a point of your intent. You buying thousands of proxies, email accounts, mass emailing and so fourth, none of you think that just looks bad if something was to happen? Again, just a question appreciate the responses.
 
Anything that is an expense you write off as long as it does not cross the threshold of illegal but most blackhat stuff involves
breaking terms of service which is a big difference.
