    Hey,

Just noticed the only website that I was using the plugin ClickBump SEO! v3.5 had an url injected in the footer.

Never would have noticed it, if the website it was pointing to wasn't suspended. Better check and disable it fast.

On another note, did a google search for that error and found tons of websites that had similar issue. :)

    Cheers.

I have just had my site suspended by my webhost iPage because it contained a phishing application reported to google via Phishtank.
I'm no hacker or cracker, I'm just here on BHW to learn more about internet scams, so you have my word that I havent injected anything.
    I wouldnt know how to.
    So.....
This was a barebones WP site with no content, no pages, no optins linked to aWeber, Nada. The site password was supercomplex, but somehow someone has got into my site and injected a phishing code.
I'd just put the site up there to let it age a bit until I started posting content. All the site had in it was a paid for theme (Welly Mulias Profits Theme) and Clickbump Seo 3.5 plugin (plus Akismet.)
    Nothing else.
Now I've found this post, I'm on a bit of a wobble.
How could someone get into my site to do the damage?
iPage has deleted my httaccess.php file and forced me to do a complete delete and reinstall.
Can anyone offer me any advice please?
