How many of you think BBB is worth it. One of my competitors is using it but I'm not sure if that is what is helping with their rankings.

Actually, most consumer contacts with BBBs are inquiries (checking out a company) and not complaints. The wise consumer checks with a BBB BEFORE dealing with an unknown company. Such inquiries reduce the possibility of complaints arising

If your competitor has it I would definitely be getting it just to add that element of trust.

    Short answer: NO
Long answer: Most are 300$ -1200$ per city or sub city or sub booty grab club. Got an infinate budget? didn't think so!
Of course these are great, why?
    Hyper Local Juice
    Hyper Local Citation
    They are PAID for Citations
    High TF URL Rank

I know in some major markets I have seen companys with 25 different BL from bbb.. that site was also ranked number 1 for given niche $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

You can usually find just as good of juice for less $$$$$$ ( local bloggggers - local news etc etc )

Again depends on budget as you could .. like site mentioned soley use bbb links and rank a monster as long as you still have some citations and the basics.

And remember different RD is becoming SUPER Smat

Hell no BBB's not worth it!
BBB is a total cash grab. Their backlink will give you some juice BUT you can still outrank with other local links.

Sponsor a local non-profit and ask for a backlink from their site. Those sites have usually been around forever.
Stack up a lot of those and you'll outrank the competition for sure AND you will be helping YOUR community! Win-win!
