I remember a while back I was under a lot of pressure to fail IM, especially from my parents. They just don't want to believe that you can make money with a computer. Today I make a some cast, but not much, and the pressure is still there.
I was wondering if any of you are under such pressure and how do you deal with it?

Often go out for a walk to keep a good mood so that you can have a nice state of the work, especially for us that often stay in the room every day.

Hope you have a fit, fun and fabulous day. :p

Actually in the moment I'm not making a shit from IM, I am in the process of making authority site. My parents are not saying shit to me as I am working and paying my Network engineer diploma and + the Cisco and bunch of Microsoft certificates.

If your IM is not taking to much of your time and you have a free time to spare, work harder on I'm or find a day job until you make enough money from IM.

Keep silent and keep taking action.
Sooner or later you will be making bunch of money and then they themselves will encourage you to do the same :) :)
Story of my life ;)

If you don't have any good result to show, then the pressure will be always be there especially if you have a certain age.

There are two ways to remove this pressure from your parent/gf/friends etc
-Find a regular job and make your IM journey a part-time job
-Take action, keep working, don't sleep and don't give up until you see the result to shut their mouth

I have a regular 8/hour job,but once in awhile a show them some result from my "part -time" job and they are like "Ok"

Nope because I'm not failing. The way to deal with it is to make money. Your parents are right, until you start earning, you aren't making any money with a computer and you are failing.

That's how IM goes... First people ridicule you for trying something 'out of the box'. Then when you are succeed you are ostracised/hated on for being too successful... pathetic ;D

OP, my advice for you is to listen to your parents as well. Not everyone becomes successful in IM and God forbid if in future you're not of them then at least you'd have an option B ready.

You should be under pressure to succeed not to fail. I think that's where you're going wrong. :)

Just remember, if you never shoot then how will you ever score?

There are ups and downs :) Sometimes I am making 100-200 per day and sometimes a nice big 0 for a whole month or two. That's why you gotta get into the long term business.

I have my share of doubters. I am not making much money at the moment but i keep trying. I am in it for the long run and will eventually prove them wrong. Keep trying no matter how hard it gets. You only fail when you give up.

It's the same with any new business, until you're making money people think you're wasting your time and should get a real job. Proving them wrong is a great feeling, rubbing it in their faces is even better :bootyshak
