I’ve had a few well-structured articles take 3–4 weeks to fully index, even with good internal linking and a sitemap submitted. Noticed some slowdown in July. Could be temporary, but it’s odd. You too?

Yeah, I’ve noticed the same lately. Indexing seems slower than usual even with proper structure. Might be a temporary shift in Google’s crawl priorities keeping an eye on it too

I haven't found this problem yet. It may be an isolated issue, or Google may be preparing for the next update.

Yes, indexing has definitely slowed down for many sites lately — even with high-quality content. Google seems to be more selective, prioritizing authority sites and crawling less often. To speed things up, you can submit your URLs in Google Search Console, build strong internal links, and keep your site technically optimized.

Yeah, exactly what I’m seeing too. Even with proper on-site signals and linking, some pages just sit for weeks. Hoping it’s just a temporary adjustment on Google’s end.

Totally agree, feels like Google’s being more selective. I’ve been using sitemap + internal links mostly, but still noticing delays. Have you seen manual GSC submissions make much of a difference lately?
Mostly sitemap submission and strong contextual internal links. Occasionally push important ones through URL inspection in GSC, but results are hit-or-miss. What’s your go-to method right now?

You should check your server logs and Google Search Console's crawl stats. A sitemap submission is a one-time signal, but Google determines what to crawl based on how important your pages are within your site's architecture. If a new page isn't getting enough internal link equity from your high-authority pages, it will be de-prioritized. You need to consistently audit your internal links to ensure your new content is not an "orphan page" and is getting the link equity it needs to be indexed quickly.
