Hey , I've been planning to invest in 4G proxies for quite some time , but I am unsure if they are worth it , maybe someone who has purchased can share their experience , Thanks a lot !

to invest like in making a pharm and selling them ?
or maybe more complicated question is whether they are "worth" to be used, if so, depends on which use case, scraping, traffic, social media management etc..

I have purchased from many companies, mostly for TikTok.
Then I switched... just to VPNs.
What is wrong with these proxies, they are 99,99% fake.
There are many things like TCP/IP implementation, MTU and dozens other things that social media can check and reveal you are using proxy.
Mobile proxies companies just doesn't care about it.
VPNs are also not perfect, they are dying fast, but they not cost you $200/month but $10/month.
You have also <10 mobile proxy providers. With VPN you have hundreds of companies and always some of them will work for limited of time.

I had no idea just how dirty most proxies are. Even 4G ones. I think making your own 4G proxies is the only way to get super clean IPs.
I put some shared datacentre proxies through a checking tool I made and none of them had rDNS records, they all had common proxy ports publicly open, half of them were blacklisted. Some were leaking the real IP in the headers. Most replied to an ICMP ping. So easy to detect..

I see recently that proxies are being flagged and not being used as well as before. You can also try VPN, maybe it will be better.

thanks for sharing , I am doing tik-tok as well but unsure what type of proxies are the best .
