It's been a long time since I've read a book and now I prefer listening to the radio.

The last few books that I've read were written by Thomas Sowell.
I read the Bible a lot, and I also read other commentary books.
There's really nothing better than reading from physical books because it's a full experience.
But reading digital books is also very rewarding because you can jump around.
You can make thematic connections much faster.
You can also go back fairly quickly to an earlier part of the book without fumbling through the pages, forgetting exactly which page a piece of information is on.
I love reading books because it enables me to learn a lot of things.
But more importantly, I get to put myself in another person's shoes.
The more perspectives the book offers and the longer its timeline, the more rewarding the experience can be.
I read mostly theology, history, politics, and economics.
I also read literary fiction from time to time.

I tried reading ebooks but there's something about it I hate I guess I miss the tangible feeling of physical books.

I relate, its just hard to pick up and read about something random but when i read about a subject that im interested might finish a book in 3 days
only read the books that will help you with your current problems, so you can relate to it and retain more informations,
i have juiced many self books in my life, never got me anywhere lol shits a scam

Reading fiction as a hobby is all well and good.
In 2024 though, reading as a learning tool is definitely not the best way to learn, considering video content.

Books are great. The knowledge you get from books is way superior to the knowledge you get from reading articles and news headlines.
