I've got both, but my main machine is a maxed out iMac. Although I use VPS's for all my Windows stuff so that I can run apps off of my bandwidth and computer resources.

Depending on the softwares use (bandwidth + resources) I'd prefer a Mac version, unless of course its heavy in both bw + resources.

windows on my main pc
linux on my other laptop (Ubuntu)
linux on my other laptop (Debian)

I prefer Windows over Mac. Yes, I have tried working on a Mac before but it didn't get my attention... not yet.

Ive been a windows guy. I had a macbook for a while and ended up just running windows on it after a few months.

What can Windows do that mac can't? Because I can guarantee you that the list of things Mac can't do that Windows can is MUCH MUCH longer. So unless I am bereft of common sense, I'll be sticking to Windows :)

Is this the point?, No, the target demographic here is Blackhatworld memebers, which i can garuntee to you is a large majority of window users, you know how many people here are from India(for example, and many other countries where Mac's aren't so common, i.e not the US, which still have what, under 50% Penetration there too?)? You think Macs are common there?.

And thats not true at all from a programmatic point of view, developing for Mac unless you're developing on Objective C isn't so different from developing to any platform, all the bells and whistles of the UI are just bells and whistles, and you can get not too far from that with Compiz on Linux, Programmatically and functionally speaking, there is ZERO difference from him, except he'll just be targeting his code for Mac, so he'll write it with Mac Libraries/API's instead of Win32, thats IT.

Edit:I thought your saying the opposite, ignore pretty much everything, but my points still stands for any Mac fanboy who wants to argue this as his claim.

Never got inspired by Mac. Using PC and on Windows 7 (and have used most versions of windows like 95, 98, 2000, ME, XP, Vista). It works great.

Where is the both selection of the poll? I have several machines of both.
