When people say bitcoin is a bubble... I wonder.. are they talking about the block chain technology which bitcoin sits on? or do they have no clue what that even is? Bitcoin has brought world wide attention to crypto but it's still in the very early stages. Companies are utilizing this new blockchain technology and people are investing in it with minimum knowledge. I get it this is the same feeling people had when the Internet came around.

The "Bubble" they refuse to understand. Refuse to acknowledge, gets mad when you see people talking about $10,000 made within a month. It hurts, I know. It's hard to believe, I know. Everyone that hasn't even purchased a crypto currency or even attempted to learn about this new technology which crypto sits on.. It kind of sad.. Most people are on BHW to make money but blasts the new age currency. People do turn pro crypto investors quickly mainly because they take risks and want to LEARN and seize opportunity.

Then there is the others that just jump on because everyone is doing it. Every field has those type of people, just the way the world works. Don't let that stop your moment to grow in a new young field which the world hasn't yet fully adopted. Bitcoin isn't going to burst, crypto isn't going to disappear, better yet why would you even want the banks to continue to control your money for you and give shitty interest rates. Why do you trust icloud drives to store your information? Why would you want Equifax continue to sell your information? Blockchain is real, it's more secure. Crypto is giving us the keys to our new "lambos" but lambos just represents Life or "To Live" because frankly we cannot trust the governments to secure our future for us.

People call BTC the only bubble, the price went too high too fast. it is very fat and heavy. Coinbase withdrawal transaction fee for miners is AUD $40 lol and it takes ages. Blockchain technology is great and every other currency is fine. I don't have any BTC but I gain a lot from altcoins. they are cheap with promising tech and a lot of room for price increase.

I guess it's not that people don't believe in blockchain technologie. They do! Nevertheless they think crypto is a bubble because there are too much people invested who drive the price up because of euphoria (crypto is giving us the keys to our new "lambos").

Real investors investing rational, they're investing emotional. That's the problem because when there are problems and the prices decrease, they'll also act emotional (they'll probably sell even if they make some loss) = crash. That's nothing new and happens since hundreds of years from time to time.

The point is: Even people who've never invested in stocks because they thought it's gambling, investing in crypto. Gaming magazine reporting about it, kids on YouTube and even in the supermarket I've listened to two housewives who talked about crypto. These people are no investors - they don't invest/act rational but emotional and that's why most people think it's a bubble. This has nothing to do with the blockchain technology itself because most people think it's the future.

I've invested in bitcoins in 2016 BECAUSE I've seen that it'll grow to a huge bubble. Not because I believe in crypto currencies (I do but that's wasn't the reason because I don't invest based on my hopes (emotial) but rational.) I've seen a bubble/a lot of emotional people who are thinking to get rich quick and invested.

I'm still invested but I took my first investment out, so I can't lose anything. That's the reason why I celebrate treads like this. But honestly I would never recommend my best friend to invest in crypto because it's a bubble and gambling. You can also double your money with stocks within a year. Surely it's risky if you want 100% but it's less risky than crypto because there's a real value behind the stocks (real companies with real products, real machines, real employees, real sales etc.) You can read the business reports of every company and tell exactly if a stock has the current value or if it's overpriced. You can't do this with cryptos because it's build on hype/emotions and not on value.

But, do what you want. :) Good luck

All a bubble means is that an asset/security is over hyped in its given market.

Is Bitcoin a bubble right now...?(over-hyped) yeah clearly. My family members who know jack shit about computers/internetz were all taking about bitcoin yesterday. That is the number 1 sign something is a bubble that is going to burst. When your lumberjack cousin wants to play the X market he's been hearing is easy money, take your money and run.

Could it still skyrocket to massive levels? Sure.
Could it be a major currency. Maybe.

The question is much are you willing to bet on that...?

Dress up up any way you like with as much nonsense as you like, it's gambling and gambling is nothing new. And soon a lot of silly little fools will find out exactly what a bubble is.

its a bubble for the people who missed out...
Same way the 1% are all mean people who stole the poor peoples' money and don't deserve any of it.

These are people with a 'victim' mentality that will probably never hit it big. sry not sry. stop blaming everyone else and start opening your eyes and try to seize opportunities.

When you talk like this, wouldn't you say many things in this life is a gamble? we create our own bubbles in life, stock markets, video games, niches, protests. So when you look it being a major currency it's very highly possible considering many people that value it. If it's easy for your lumber jack cousin to enter the market do you not see how the rest of the world would easily adapt to it?

Are we in a bubble? Sure you can say that. However we are far from the bubble bursting. Very far away. At least 2 years away.
