I was posting 2.5 mil/day 'till last week. Since then, the speed has decreased a great deal... it now takes 6-7 hours to post to a 100k list :o With the same proxies, same server, same (in fact, better) list - the exact same setup I was posting 2000/minute with.

If you're having issues with SB, please post in this thread so we can figure out whether its some specific host/proxies or what?

Here's my setup:

- 20 private proxies from here (Not affiliated with them, in anyway).
- A high end custom VPS from bermanhosting.com - its in Germany.
- Fresh Scraped wordpress Lists - no question about the quality of the list. My partnet posted to 100k blogs successfully and gave that "successfully posted" list to me just a day or two ago.
- 120 connections
- 90 seconds timeout.
- Posting speed : 150-200 URLs/ minute. It was 1500-2000/min a couple weeks ago.


Post your setup if you're having this issue.
If your SB is working fine, please post your proxy source and the host your using (if any).

Have you checked the speed of the server? Try running a speedtest.net and compare it with any previous results. Could be an issue with network.

I don't think there should be anything with SB, since they didn't do any update for the mainframe posting modules recently.
 
I'm also have such problems with 2 of my VPS's regarding speed. Especially when I'm checking links. I think this is related to your VPS. The fastest VPS that I own is the one from xsservers. Never had problems when posting/checking links. I'm using 50 private proxies from buyproxies and about 30 connections when checking links.

Regarding the posting speed I'm using about 30 connections with 50 proxies,60 sec timeout and it takes about 10 hours/100k posts.

I recommend you to send a support ticket to your VPS provider and ask if they modified something regarding your VPS speed.

Also I suggest you to try other private proxies providers for testing. ;)

ps: In my opinion 20 private proxies/120 connections is not a great setup. Try to decrease the number of threads or buy more private proxies.

Thanks. I've checked the speed and its just the same as it was when I was posting 100k/hours..

Thanks for the reply.
Its not about how many connections I use. In fact, 120 connections should speed it up rather than making it 5 times slower than normal. Success rate would be low with more connections but that's a different thing.
I've tried two proxy sources - one of the is squidproxies and the other one is mentioned in the Original Post.
I have contacted my host regarding this and they say they haven't changed a damn thing in the past few weeks so they're not sure what is up either.

Could you guys please do a test for me and all those having this issue?
Simply replicate my set up (20 proxies, 120 connections, 90 sec timeout) and let us know the speed it goes at?
I would appreciate if you could do that :)

This won't really help because:
1. The speed of network would be different
2. The speed of proxies will be different
3. The list will be different

This problem is really strange.. :(

That is why I requested to do a little test. If you face the same problem, then its not about my VPS or proxies.
But if your SB posts just fine then it'd be clear that there's something wrong either with my network or with the proxies.
 
did you made a proxy test , lately? try to see if your ping to the proxies has changed..

latest version of SB?

did you tried a vps restart?
 
i have same problem with my vps in bermanhosting

one week ago i have no problem with posting / link checking
in speed test is all OK

scrapebox settings dosen't matter
i have restarted my VPS and nothing :(
im using newest Scrapebox

i dont know what's happend
 
Sorry bro, a little off topic. But which VPS plan are you using from bermanhosting.com? Their prices seem pretty damn good
 
I had an issue with Berman about a week ago (VPS PC kept rebooting). They fixed it by rolling back to a previous more stable version of their virtualization software. As far as I'm aware, we're on a shared server; so this may affect all members on that server. I'm not posting, just scraping and this has improved. If anyone's having any VPS issues, find out if there were any recent scheduled/unscheduled maintenance taking place.

Contact the guy running it, he's pretty good with support.

The other thing you could try, is running Scrapebox on your home internet connection (assuming you have one with good bandwidth) using the same settings; to eliminate the VPS issue.

Tomorrow I will move you to another node that is with another version of the virtualization hypervisor, which doesn't have that problem.
Currently every single ram bit is sold out, so today I can't move you. New servers are prepared, but now I must wait for the RIPE network to provide new IP's for the servers. They don't operate during weekends. Tomorrow after 12:00-13:00 CET speed problems with SB will be resolved."

bermanhosting. support answer me

I'm pretty sure that the problem is either in the proxies you are using or just in the SB configuration. You are not on a node, which was affected from an external connection speed problem.
