Are you guys also into Network Marketing?

Hey there, just wondering.

I stumbled into the IM scene like 8 months ago where I first landed in the garbage of all the clickbank enthusiasts. Yay me! Luckily got myself out there and into an awesome company (network marketing)
Quite new to BHW and liking it a lot here =)

Now that I understand that IM is much more about Entrepreneurship than just making some quick buck with a push button software I wanted to hear from others if you also found your way into Network Marketing because Affiliate Marketing (Internet Marketing in general) is so similar to it? Likes - dislikes?

Just to clarify - I'm not here to recruit anyone, just curios about what your life stories bring up

Please elaborate on your description of 'Network Marketing'. I've never really seen anything described as such, but have a few ideas.

By network marketing you are referring to MLMs right?

If you're talking about MLM, just go to Utah...Mormons seem to love that stuff for some reason.

I don't really know MLM - never been in such a company

Direct Selling (Network Marketing) is quite different from MLM. I've heard of people who have been into MLMs in the past who had a team of like 4500 people (not just their direct team members, but also team members of team members) and only earned $800 a month! They have sucky products, sucky payplans and basically just try to go viral to make the company rich. Leaving us (the entrepreneurs) broke and behind. You'd make 8 digits in this company with such a team because it pays so well.

Network Marketing (as we apply it currently) is where we build a team of quality people (I honestly don't enjoy working with idiots xD don't care if I make money from them!) who build a team of quality people who build a team of quality people. This thing snowballs very quickly that's why mortals who work their butt off have such a hard time believing in its validity. "Pyramid scheme" and stuff like this.

It's a solid business model especially when there is leadership and support in place for the newbs so I don't have to spoonfeed them
And I just love making money because someone just made a sale I don't even know (deep in my downline)

I have only found few threads here mentioning MLM and am shocked that you guys are not killing it in MLM with the marketing knowledge most of you have. If I had to make the choice again to either market a clickbank product that gives me $20-100 commission or market this network marketing product earning up to $2k and having a team member that earns me money aswell you wouldn't have to ask me twice LEVERAGE IS KING!

Sorry, I tend to go on a rant!

Look marketing is the same no matter what you call it the difference is you and how you approach things.The same methods work for all just be creative.I have used the same tricks in sales as i do to get people to hit ads grab their attention and keep it.

I don't like MLM or Network marketing, Its all BS! I mean Its pretty much all about making a monthly or yearly membership payment, then you get other to join a do the same. Its all a pyramid scheme regardless if you have products in between that makes it "legal".

You have to go a recruit people and that is all about, If you don't recruit then you don't make money. Screwing the one below you in order for you to make money. And most companies ask you to go recruit ur friends and family! I believe I joined GDI once under bear marketing and ACN which probably I am still in. I have not made anything at all. They payment plan might seems teasing but and the end its just screwing you and get you to screw other people by lying to them. that;s not me.

I had more success into IM than any other BS, hard work pays' off and leave it autopilot FTW!

From what I gather you are talking about working with a team of people through sub affiliates levels correct?

I have done this from time to time, when working in this way it has usually been sucessful. However in the end they have always broken down for various reasons, the most often being that once you introduce people to your techniques eventually they figure out they can take the lead and cut you out of the equation altogether. It doesn't usually happen when working with people you know in the real world but random people from the internet I have found happens alot.

The upsaide to it regardless of the above is usually you find out new techniques from those you work with and also you will no doubt have a larger set of skills available.

ACN is the reinventing the word of MLM's to Network Marketing. These types of models are based on one thing and that is "bringing in other people" That is what a Ponzi scheme is, if you stop bringing in people, nobody makes money.

I gets hemo's in my arse when I read these guys spin their deception by saying it is a legit "business model" If you are asked to pay to enter into a once in a lifetime opportunity, then you are a sucker for those types of people. Sprint was the only one who ever used this type of model back in the late 80's but ONLY because they stopped asking for membership fees. Once they did that, there registrations soared after every college kid had his friends and family change their LD service to get a commission from the lead for life.

If it is some BS product that could not get any real shelf space in a store on its own or is some company abusing the public utility resale laws, it is mostly likely a MLM or whatever somebody tries to spin it as...bottom line a ponzi model = MLM = Network Marketing = SCAM and who the freakin uses the word "business model" in the real world anyhow?

I used to do it when I was like 18-20.

I put in about 2 or 3 hours a week of work and made around $500 a month.

Since I couldn't really talk to anyone, I used these "Drop Cards" that I printed up and just left them around town in random places as I did errands (example: inside the business magazines or newspapers). I could print up like 1000 of these for like $10.

That sent them to a site where they watched this presentation where they then signed up as a lead. The lead then went to an autoresponder (which I didn't write) which would get them to sign up with the business or not.

The company then went out of business. No other company had a good system with a presentation and autoresponder series that worked as well so I stopped doing it.

I wouldn't do it now simply because on average I was only making maybe like $10 a month per person who signed up who would stay with the business for like 3 months. I would rather just make a website that sold a product for a $10 commission since it will stay around longer making sales each month again and again.

EDIT: Most people think these things don't work at all. Making money with them is possible. You just have to realize that everyone who signs up will do NOTHING and expect results. I would email people exactly what I did to make the money I did with the same drop card and the presentation which they had access to and no one would do the work. It's very frustration especially since my system was SUPER EASY to follow.

Interesting and true. Mormons gravitate towards MLM (sometimes referred to jokingly as "Mormons Losing Money") because their religion requires them to do missionary work. So they're used to direct (in person) selling.

Are you talking about MLM? I am not interested in MLM for some several reasons. I really hate them.

Hi I am into network marketing or MLM too and I love being in it.. I think the best affiliate program is the ones using Network marketing strategy..
