No it's not, not even slightly the same. You see if I were to sit on Facebook using my profile to call the local meat heads girlfriend a slag and harass her. There would be a very good chance that the local meat head would punch my face in. If I did the same with an anonymous account, nothing would happen to me. However in mystical imaginary karma world, it wouldn't matter if I used my personal account or anonymous account to do the dirty deed, I'd still get my "Karma".
One is a reaction to an action, the other relies on the mystical forces at work that be "Karma".

Evil? no, Indifferent? yes
committing unnecessary evil is big no for me, however im all for necessary evils, from what serves society to what serves me, if justified then will 100% do it, and we do these kind of evil all the time
one example is capitalism, it produced millions of slave labor but it also helped abolish extreme poverty, produced all our technology and innovated antibiotics than helped hundreds of millions
the equation of evil is calculated with what makes the greater good for the greater group

Personaly I like the non-entity blobs of way back then. Especially the Greek ones. They where very good at judging and dishing out vengeful actions when they saw fit, most of the time because their ego got hurt. And I always wonder how you could explain the concept of Karma to them...

I believe that there is evil in every person on this Earth. If anyone sees that he is innocent, then he is lying. There is a balance between evil and innocence. What do you think guys think? Am i being paranoid or i am telling the truth? Please, comment your view and opinions.

Your thought supposes that there's an objective definition of good and evil. So you should ponder on that.
