Are you constantly refreshing the BHW homepage?

I wasted a big chunk of today just constantly refreshing the BHW homepage and reading threads instead of actually working

Am I the only one?

I think I should take a break from this site for a few weeks so I can focus on my work
 
Advertise on BHW
Just today i got distracted while clicking "home" to refresh the page so i just kept clicking it while i chatted with my wife. Ended up getting rate limited for an hour by cloudflare :weep:
 
Haha that's what I do everyday, that and check my crypto.
 
While working, maybe 3 hours a week.
While not working, maybe 50 hours a week...
 
I used to spend 6-8 hours on BHW. One day, mods gave me a warning for being hyperactive. I started checking several times a day. Again, mods gave me another warning to motivate me. Now, I completely turn off my internet while doing offline stuff and keep a strict schedule for online work. All you need for motivation is a warning from mods.
 
It´s called BHWism
 
That's exactly what I do rather than go through the subforums
 
From previous experience.. Go find the Videos/ Courses/ PDF.s you have gained knowledge about from this place.. This place is not the be all and see all for your progress.. What you are doing is stunting your growth.. Maybe quit hitting refresh for new posts and start looking for subjects you are interested in and not only follow the advice, go youtube, udemy it or wsodownloads it and so forth=-)
 
I used to do that when some interesting thread came out, but rarely these days
 
Build a bot to auto-refresh every X sec
Don't let that stop you from surfing BHW;)

I spend too much time procrastinating on BHW, YT, and looking at my stats

Gotta free myself
