I doubt IM is considered "Entrepreneurship".

If you sell directly to clients, then you might fall into the Entrepreneur category.
You source for resources to make a product. You market it, you hire people to sell the product or to manage the company's operations.
I believe that's what an "Entrepreneur" definition should be.

But if you're merely an affiliate (amazon, cb, .etc) or earning via adsense, you're not. You're helping someone to sell. You have little risks as compared to the former case.
If you're in this category, the status "self-employed" is more appropriate.

But of course, that's my opinion. I did asked this question in BHW before and I have to quote a good reply:
"People who say they're Entrepreneurs usually aren't."

I guess the word "Entrepreneur" has been used so oftenly that it lost its real meaning and prestige. Like the word "Model". Every bitch takes photo for a blogshop or some small time job and they start telling others they're a "model".

What a society we live in, huh?

The IM stuff is pretty good for freeing up your time. It's a solid idea for anyone to consider for that fact alone, even if they move on from IM.

Paul Graham of the Y Combinator says that entrepeneurs often don't really need a lot of funding -- they just need the "ramen noodle money" to keep the belly full and the lights on while they work, invent, and innovate.

Instead of giving some suits 20-40% of your company for some ramen noodle money, you can make your own.

Following methods that are found on BHW and doing what WSO's say to do does not make anyone an entrepreneur. There are probably very few people on here who are actually entrepreneurs
