I agree but for me i'm programed to sleep at a time and wake up at a time and that way i have a lot of energy.

You get a lot of energy when you wake up at....?

Before quarantine early riser, after night owl.
I think the stigma where early riser more success is because most early riser, is worker, professional, entrepreneur, etc. But most night owl is gamer, people that go to the club,

Yes you need exposure to sunlight, otherwise your health will get worse

Both, I often stay up close to midnight and almost always rise in the 5 AM range.

It's gotta' be the shoes that causes that these days.

I wish I was like you. I have a really f*cked up sleep pattern where I sleep at 4AM and wake up at 1PM. Being a full time in IM helps in that, but honestly, I feel like it's messing with my brain.

I guess you've been an early riser your whole life?

Both,

For years now I have been on the same schedule, wake at 10AM end my day at 4AM

I can't stand sleeping in and making the day so short, Also working during the midnight gives better focus with minimal distractions. Weekends are a little more lax, but that is more or less the routine.

Sometime midday 5PM naps are involved too, but not always.

This is VERY similar to my sleep pattern. i somtimes change to 3AM - 9AM sleep depending on work, but i don't sleep more than 6 hours, and i hate waking up after 11 AM.

Just wondering when Blackhat members sleep and wake. I'm not talking about during these quarantine days as it f*cked many people's sleep schedule, but I'm talking about in normal days.

Is it true that early risers accomplish more than the night owls?

I read that being a night owl for a long time could hurt you mentally... is that true?

Are night owls more creative than early risers?

Lack of sunlight is bad for your health?

Is it scientifically proven that either of them is "healthier" than the other?

Hey buddy thanks for the post. I am a night owl and had been doing it for quite long time.

I work the whole night, everyday. Night is the only time which gives me Laser focus ability to concentrate on any small to big task and accomplish within timeframe.

It doesn't hurt anything ONLY one thing matter: how much dedication you have for, what you want?

As far as health is concerned remember as long as you have good habits like drinking more water, stay away from booze, eat fresh fruits and veggies then you are good to go. Incorporate workout, yoga in your lifestyle. Think about long term not short term.

One more thing stay with right people.

Not talking about you but saying about general people: Most of the users come at BH with a mindset of get rich quick which may work once in a blue but for most part it doesn't.

So believe in setting up a real business and think about long term. Fix your goal and go get it

Its not direct answer of your post what I can sense what most people deal with as I've been doing this work for quite long time.

For the most part.

My first job outside of the family business was when I was 16 as a baker's helper and I had to be at work at 4AM and it was a 30 minute bike ride from my home so I got up at 3AM.

It took a minute to get used to it but I ended up liking those early morning hours.

Between 5AM and 7AM I can get 5 hours worth of work done these days.

Your'e so adorable with the text that match your avatar. but why say we only want to get rich quick? this is some harsh judgement for a user with 2 posts.

That's actually a very good habbit and some of my friends wake up that early for their whole life and considered more "hard working" than me, to the naked eye.

Point is, i could say the same about my 12AM - 2AM - this is where i get my 5 hours worth of work. when the kids are sleeping, the lights are shut.

I tried many times for many reasons (whether i had to or not) to wake up earlier, and came to the conclusion that staying up at night is more beneficial for my work.

Thanks. I did not judge you nor I said about you, if you read again and carefully: I clearly mentioned:

"Not talking about you but saying about general people: Most of the users come at BH with a mindset"

I was not talking about you, I said in general.
Hope it helps.

Different strokes for different folks.

I can do mundane things late but in general if you want quality out of me it is early in the day before the sun rises.

I set up the dog's situation, handle business, read the news and get in a quick 5 mile bike ride before sun up most days.

A bit of both.
Generally, I go to bed at 12am and get up at 6.
Once in a while, I end up sleeping at 5-6 am and wake up at 9 am. Then take a midday nap at 3-4 pm.

Where have you been, Homie?

Hey dude! A lot's been happening so was kinda out of the internet marketing scene. Can't believe I'm returning to BHW after almost 2 years. Let's catch up on skype, someday?

Yeah, you are one of those I look up to in terms of innovation, work ethic and originality.

Hit me when you have a minute.

Also, we need to get you back in the Jr Exec world although I'm not sure how that would work.

Quality deserves recognition.

I sleep at 4AM and wake up at 12.30 PM so yeah i'm a night owl. I tried being an early riser for about million times but still no luck.
