Hello BHW.

Who here is actually DOING work? ;)

Having ideas is great... actually putting them into ACTION, yeah, that I find hard :D

I spend a lot more time on ideas and keyword/competitor research than most IMers, but my project success rate is great honestly.

It's a trade off. I could possibly be making 2x as much if I spent less time researching and just put out more material, but possibly not.

I might do a couple of my ideas tomorrow or the day after.

I right now have clients + my big project I'm working on. My big project's launch date has been pushed back by like 3 months because I just never get around to DOING things :[ I can see why people slip into a 9-5 job. Super duper easy ;)

Busy DOING something require same effort as busy DOING nothing
the difference is at the end of the month you'll end up with something or nothing.

I'm the opposite... I hear about something and I do it right away. Most of the time it's great (especially if it comes from BHW) but sometimes it sux... like that time I learned about Xrumer and my main $$ site went into oblivion!

I wish I had more time to work on MY ideas...

I might do a couple of minutes tomorrow if I am not to preoccupied doing nothing. Or in the pub seems as though it is nearing on Christmas.

I try to do work whenever I get an idea but it gets discouraging since my ideas rarely work.

I spend a lot of time reading and doing research myself , I have a ton of ideas but when it comes down to actually implementing them I'm in the same boat as you windmill.

For me, a lot of it is that I struggle with admin work. E.g. I have a client right now and I need to optimize their page. I know exactly what needs to be done, but its getting my head in the game and actually DOING it. Its not just that its boring, but that something repulses me about actually doing it :p detail-orientated work like onsite optimisation puts me off.

I suppose we must work to our strengths. I'm trying to automate as much of this stuff as I can.

Not everyone's cut out for business. It's as simple as that.

Some people are just too comfortable and would rather relax and dream about what they *could* do rather than face the stress of doing it.

It's extremely easy to dream, but it's much harder to set on the path and make it a reality unless you're willing to face your fears head on and overcome them. It all really comes down to fear. You can see it all over the forum. Someone posts a method and 90% of the replies will be from a fear-based perspective, ie, "has this worked for anyone else?", "has this worked for you?", "how much can I make with this?", "how much do you make with this?", "I don't think this'll work", "this isn't realistic" and so on. Then these people will go back to dreaming and create threads like "How much do you all make?", "What kind of car do you all drive?", "Is this possible?", "Can you do this?" etc.

I'd be surprised if I could count the number of people on 2 hands that actually try to implement most methods that are shared here.

At the end of the day it comes down to a very simple thing:

Would you rather be comfortable in the life you have forever, or would you rather face your fears for the chance to make your dreams a reality. With each action you take in life all you have to do is ask if this is taking you closer to your dreams or not. If it's not then don't do it.

I find that once money is invested, actions will follow (for me anyway). Its like paying $500 for your gym subscription.. and then pushing yourself to go because you paid for it and you don't want to waste your money and subscription.

Just invest a bit of money in a method, it doesn't have to be thousands, just 100-200$ and you'll be kicking your own ass to get your money back + roi

Want to, but limited at the moment.

Having the worst internet on the planet plus the 3 most shopping intensive holidays coming up... clients are scrambling and wanting everything. Hellish time of the year for my own stuff :|

i have at least 10 ideas that im sure will make money, but i keep losing focus and just managing my existing online business and going out to drink/playing games online instead of taking action.

Actually it is REALLY bothering me.

I wish i had a local parter to push me up but my friends are all into 9-5 jobs and thats it

guys, there are a million excuses, most of them valid. at the end of the day, finding excuses is just trying to justify your "not taking action". change your attitude.

Clients take up 14 hours a day during this time of the year. I require atleast 8 hours of sleep. That leaves 2 hours for breakfast, lunch, dinner, general chores... I'm a person that does, not a person that hopes. Excuses are not my style.

I work constantly... generally straight up 10-12 hours/day 7 days a week, with very very few distractions.
If my sites are all ranking, and content is done for the day, I will simply work on automating more processes.

Tough, but the money is exceptional.

im not giving excuses, im saying i know im fucking up and could be making alot but im not,.

I wish i had a parter to split some work and keep motivation up, it would be better, but i dont have and ill make everything alone as aways
