Before the Mass Comment Deletion event in March, i was easliy able to add my links to old posts (6 months to 2 yrs old) and most of the times my links were left as it and were never removed (i was promoting products of the company which i work for - no affiliate links and no spam- just recommendations where i felt that the links would be useful - No spam at all- using mutiple accounts and all the other necessary precautions)

I have many old aged reddit accounts created using my local ISP on different devices on different networks with good karma and posting history in the subs in which i want to promote.

Since 1st week of April, no matter what i do, which ever link i post on these old posts, they are manually removed after 12-24hours. I have tried to buy new domains and use those. i have tried adding my competitors product name/domain just for testing and checking if that sticks. But each time the comment gets deleted from any account i post. i even tried with an account which was never used for promoting anything and which has good background.

What has changed Mods? Is their some new mechanism in place which is highlighing comments on these old posts? is there some new app or some new filters in place which is pin pointing these comments on old posts? what is this ? any pointers would be helpful.

For background im trying to post on some video & audio editing type subreddits with 100K-300K subs.

Any pointers would be helpful. PLEASE HELP!

Thank you!

Reddit probably wants to stop people from placing links on old posts that are ranked on google. So those comments are likely sent to manual review and then deleted.

Do you boost your comments with upvotes? Because if you do that (in higher numbers) on old threads you can trigger anti spam filter.

No boosting. no upvotes. just a single non spammy comment with a link

My links are sticking after ~2 months of editing in link. Maybe automod in your sub has changed filters.

Didn't face much problems here
Please describe your exact setup and what you do with those domains? do you redirect to the old main domains or it's new website?
do you work on specific niche?
